Frictional Games Announces a New Amnesia Title

Frictional Games, the Swedish independent developer known for the horror games Amnesia: The Dark Descent and Soma, has announced that it is working on a new entry in the Amnesia franchise. Set for release later this year the new title, Amnesia: Rebirth, is the third game in the franchise and follows the release of Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs, which was released in 2013 and developed by The Chinese Room.

While details are scarce at the current time, we do know that the game will see you retrace the footsteps of the main character, Tasi Trianon, through the Algerian desert after the plane she was travelling aboard crashes. Frictional released a trailer which can be viewed below.

Amnesia: Rebirth is set to release on the PlayStation 4 and PC this autumn.
